Manor Park Primary School, have been contracting technician, advice and support services from Education and IT (Edit) for over 2 years now. The school took the bold step of changing services to Edit IT following a string of inconsistent and disappointing services from other contractors on the market, not to mention poor value for money. As a Headteacher and Lead Inspector for OFSTED, I know first hand how vital an efficient and reliable IT infrastructure is to ensure the smooth day to day running of any educational establishment. Not only to has the reliable and consistent support for the administration dimension of our school’s system been outstanding; but the services, enthusiasm and genuine passion that Edit show to support new technologies as a tool to enrich teaching and learning have been instrumental in the growing success of Manor Park over recent years. No task is too big or to small for Edit and their incisive knowledge of educational settings allows the school to make decisive and strategic decisions. As a school, we fully embrace the services of Edit and are confident that our unique partnership will be crucial to ensure the best possible technological resources for our setting and learners into the future.

2011 Winner of the Leadership in Education Award.

My school had received support from the Local Authority for a number of years, and moved to EdIT about 3 years ago. I have been very impressed with the quality of support and the service we have received. It is not just 'fire fighting' and solving issues that have arisen during the week (although these are dealt with immediately and efficiently), but the support in long term planning and vision for ICT in our school. Our ICT provision has grown incredibly in the past 3 years, and EdIt have supported this very well.

We feel we are treated individually, and urgent problems are dealt with immediately - we don't have to wait until our next weekly visit. What was extremely impressive was when we had our Ofsted call last year; a phone call to EDit, and they changed their usual visits to be there 'just in case' anything went wrong each morning!

I have recommended EDiT to a number of local schools who are just as pleased as we are with the service we receive!

We have worked happily with Education and IT Ltd for the last 3 years, Zunaid has been our main technician and has always given outstanding support. All of the team whether on site or via the helpdesk have provided a professional and quality service. Edit are dedicated to providing exceptional IT provision and have offered assistance and guidance with a variety of procurement and IT solutions. They fully comply with safeguarding regulations and have been flexible and supportive in their service during Ofsted inspections. Having worked with Zunaid for several years I feel happy and confident in the support school receives and would recommend their services to other Birmingham schools.

From strategic development to procurement to technical support to general advice and training - nothing is too much trouble (or technically too difficult). I wholeheartedly recommend them and personally could not manage ICT in our school without Edit support.
