Education & IT Ltd was setup in April of 2006 to address a gap in the market for IT support in Birmingham schools. The choice, at the time for IT support, was the local authority or individual enginners running small companies that consisted of 2-3 employees. Education & IT Ltd started providing IT support that met and exceled local authority standards and provided IT stability within schools. Many schools signed up with Education & IT Ltd very quickly to take advantage of the new ethos that Education & IT Ltd brought to the marketplace; "success built on service".

Education & IT Ltd expanded quickly out into the surrounding local authorities; into Sandwell and Coventry; with plans to expand out into Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Staffordshire. Along with schools Education & IT Ltd expanded its customer base, commencing support for charity and voluntary organisations and small companies.

Along the way Education & IT Ltd have forged strong alliances with computing suppliers and service providers, to enable the company to provide the best service possible to our customers. Education & IT Ltd have developed a procurement arm that can compete with the best of suppliers; have employed highly trained people to provide safe and efficient cabling solutions and continue to review the service to ensure there is no lapse in the ethos "success built on service".

Within the last 2 years Education & IT Ltd have developed additional services. Offsite Backup provides reliable and cost effective backup solution that stores data in a secure location away from our customer's premises. Unlimited Hosting provides our customers with unlimited webspace, unlimited web traffic and unlimited email addresses. Other providers place caps on all three attributes. This facility allows a customer to setup a website, online office and ftp storage without the concern additional expense. A bespoke web design service that accommodates both managed websites and self updating websites and e-commerce websites.

Education & IT Ltd have started a software research and developement department, whereby Education & IT Ltd will be able to provide highly specific solutions to customer's need, for example EPOS (electronic point of sale), virtual learning environments and bespoke software for tasks.
